Michael Israel

Michael Israel has made Southern California his home since 2001, apart from his law studies at the University of Minnesota. He began his career at an AV-rated litigation firm, where he rose to partner and handled complex, high-exposure matters from intake through trial. From his earliest years in practice he was taking depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive motions, preparing liability and exposure analyses, and setting litigation strategy.

After eight years in litigation, Michael became General Counsel of a fitness venture that he helped grow into a multinational business, managing the full range of legal issues a developing enterprise meets over eight years of growth.

That combination — courtroom litigator and in-house counsel — gives him a practical understanding of how business operations and litigation shape one another. He brings that perspective to understanding what each client actually needs and to pursuing it.
